When a young man of a large fortune, named Mr. Bingley, comes to stay at Netherfield, the word of it spreads all the way up to Hertfordshire, where an English gentleman, Mr. Bennet, resides with his wife and five daughters. The Bennet family lives a very dignified and peaceful life in their house but except for the fact that Mrs. Bennet is worried about the marriage of his daughters.
